In this series of work, I explore the dynamic relationship between Newgrange and the land on which it was built. Described in mythology as a festival hall of kings, I explore this idea through a series of tapas dishes of various sizes. Through contrasting colours in the surface design and the layout of the pieces themselves referencing topographical maps of the site, I aim to capture the mystery, beauty and history of The Boyne Valley.
